It also serves as a retention ring to keep garbage bags from sliding down.

Our wall-mounted trash can with lid can be easily hung on kitchen cabinet doors, pantry doors, or under sinks. The door should be thinner than 0.86 inches. Alternatively, it can be wall-mounted using an adhesive pad or screws.
